About me

Hi there. My name is Gary Pritchard, and I provide tailored ICT training, website management and consultancy services from my North Kent base in southern England.

Details of the services I provide can be found in the relevant sections below, but in summary: I deliver training on the use of Microsoft Windows computers, Microsoft Office applications and website management for both businesses and individuals, from absolute beginner to advanced. In addition, I design, develop & manage websites for a range of small business clients as well as provide ICT consultancy and advice for small business.

ICT training

I provide a range of training courses, designed to meet the needs of each individual client, on the following subjects:

Sessions can last from half a day to several days, depending on need. All course content is tailored and fully agreed with the client before delivery.

In addition to training delivery, I am also able to offer a training needs assessment to determine actual training need for individuals or groups of people.

Website management

I do not actively promote my web design and hosting services as I am currently concentrating on a project to develop a range of web properties in a variety of niche markets.

However, if you are interested in developing a web presence, I can:

Microsoft Email Problems

We are currently seeing a large amount of emails being deferred when sending to Hotmail/Outlook and other Microsoft addresses. This includes and domains that have emails hosted with Outlook services.

This is still ongoing, we are continuously monitoring this and will keep this page up to date with the latest information.

E-Mail Delivery to BT and Yahoo

We are seeing some failures as well as delays with Mail Delivery to BT and Yahoo addresses from messages sent from our network.

We are still seeing some rejections and delayed messages to these mail providers and are continuing to work to resolve these problems. We apologise for the ongoing nature of this issue and for the inconvenience caused.

AOL - Sending Issues

We are seeing that a number of rejections to AOL, this looks to be caused by a limit on their servers restricting the amount of emails that can be received from our shared mail servers. We are currently investigating, our apologies for any inconvenience caused here in the meantime.

Mail114 Large Mail Queue

This is still an ongoing issue of which we are still investigating and are working on to provide a permanent solution. Users may still encounter some connectivity issues when accessing mailboxes on this mail server.

There is still a slightly large mail queue on this server, however connections to and from this mail server should be working, emails are also being processed with little to no delay.

We are still seeing intermittent connectivity problems to mailboxes on this server. email traffic is flowing, so emails are being processed.

We will continue to investigate this and take necessary actions to maintain current performance whilst looking into the connectivity problems that are being reported.

In an attempt to help mitigate the high load problem on this mail server a connection limit was imposed onto the server, as a result customers are intermittently experiencing connectivity issues when accessing mailboxes via webmail / mail clients.

This is a preventative measure, we are working to effectively resolve this problem and have this service back to normal without any further inconveniences.

We apologise for the inconveniences caused.

We've increased IMAP / POP3 Connection limits on the mail server to help mitigate the problems, the mail server is now running and appears to be quite stable.

We will continue to monitor this server to ensure it continues to run smoothly.

Our System Administrators have taken temporary steps to prevent high load and large mail queues on this server by imposing an connection limit for accessing emails on Mail114, therefore some customers will experience connectivity issues where they are unable to access webmail / their emails via third party software for periods of times.

Taking this preventative measure will stop any emails being delayed / lost during this process, we are still investigating this issue, the estimated time frame for this is Wednesday, we will update you further with more information when its available.

The mail queue has dropped significantly however we are continuing to investigate the issue and we will update with further information shortly.

We are still seeing problems on this mail server, services such as IMAP / POP3 connections to this server are timing out, and there are delays with incoming and outgoing emails.

We apologise for the issues caused, we are still working to resolve this problem.

We are currently seeing an increased amount of traffic flowing through this mail server, which in turn is causing email delays with regards to emails being sent to and from this server.

This is currently being investigated and we expect to have this back to normal operations as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience.

I am able to advise small business on their use and implementation of their ICT systems.
